Frequently Asked Questions

I'd like to hire a tutor. What are your rates like?

Your first session is FREE. Thereafter, prices for tuition start at N25,000 per month, depending on the plan you choose for your family. This excludes an additional N3,000 charge for travel costs. Our music, arts, exam prep and language sessions are billed per hour.

Do i need to pay for registration?

No, unlike many tutoring services we do not require a on-off registration administration fee.

Why can't i just get one myself?

All of our tutors and class supervisors are well educated, with conducted background checks and references – safeguarding your children is our top priority. We have a rigorous screening, interview and training process. We are highly selective and test teaching skills, rapport-building and empathy skills, reflection skills and genuine commitment to children.

Can the sessions take place within my home?

Most of our sessions are delivered at two main locations: the learner’s home or workplace. However, we strongly recommend that sessions should hold in the comfort and safety of your home. We recommend assigning an area for tutorials, in a room where there will be no distractions from siblings, pets or appliances, and where the tutor and student can create an optimal learning experience.

Now that my sessions have begun, how do i make payment?

Payment is due after your first or second appointment with our tutor. Payments are made in advance by either direct debit or bank transfer. This is to guarantee payment to your tutor as at when due.

What is your success rate?

Through our Customized Learning Plans (CLP), we have recorded hundreds of successes in entrance exam tuition with many pupils sitting and successfully passing the exams. However, we prefer to take an holistic approach to a child’s overall academic development. We work with most of our clients to nurture the whole child ensuring they make good progress in their academic attainment in school, whilst carefully boosting their self-esteem and confidence.
